Hi Dale,
The trick to making REAL money on eBay is to customize anything you are going to sell over and over.
If it is something you can just keep relisting, you want it to make as much money as possible for you. If one weeks work makes you $15 per sale, rather than $2 per sale, wouldn't that be worth it in the long run, provided you continue to sell it till the cows come home?
That is the techniques I use to make money..
For instance:
I have one guy I coach who informed me he was selling a gambling eBook for $10 a sale. He was selling about 8 every day. That is $80 a day off one eBook.
Now, that very same eBook is sold by other ebay sellers for pennies, literally. People will sell it for 20 cents, 10 cents, $1 dollar, you name it. BUT, they do not sell 8 a day.
So, the guy I coached is making $80 bucks a day, while the others are not even making a $1 a day..
Which one do you think put more time into it? But, I can tell you, it wasn't much more time.
That is one of the BIGGEST advantages you can have over your competitors. You can pretty much BANK that most who sell on eBay are what we call LAZY. As long as you are willing to go one step farther than them, you can always come out on top.
For instance, in one of your auctions you are selling 61,000 eBooks:
But, here is the thing. You are giving SO MUCH to so little. You want to give so little to SO MUCH customers!
How do you do that?
Well, you figure out which eBooks people want that are valuable in their minds. Here is a good way to do this:
Here look at this link:
You might have to sign in, but after you do, it will display the search..
OK, notice that I sorted the eBooks by the "highest price first". I did this, because I want you to see what is most valuable to people. What they are willing to pay for..
If you just look through this page, you will see that there are ACTUALLY people willing to pay $100 for one ebook.. Yes, believe it or not..
Of course, I would not recommend doing this, as sometimes, it can backfire. I would suggest looking through the list, finding the valuable eBooks (green ones are sales on the search page.. If it was bought, it is valuable). Find the valuable eBooks, but try to sell for reasonable prices like $20 bucks, $30 bucks, $5 bucks, $10 bucks..
$100 bucks can get you in trouble with eBay IF you don't know what you are doing. You CAN, in certain circumstances, sell for $100 bucks, but it would be based on if it is actually really worth it.. Just because you can get someone to bid and pay doesn't mean it is worth it, if they did not understand what they bought. Do you see what I mean?
SO, the trick is QUALITY, rather than QUANTITY when selling eBooks..
If you REALLY know what you are doing, you can make $100 bucks a day off as little as 5 eBooks. Of course, they will be the top value ebooks.. But, as I demonstrated above, there was one guy I coached who sold ONE eBook and made practically $100 a day..
Sincerely
Tony

Hello, I have spent the last few days reading just about everything from the website. I have alread started a small ebay biz of my own and I was plan to add to it. I already sell ebooks but the ones I sell came with templates to make it easy to list on ebay. I just started a few weeks ago and I have sold around 10 at $2.00 each. my ebay store is http://stores.ebay.com/carascollectibles if you would like to see what I have started. For now I would like to know if you have templates or ads already to use for the ebooks you have in this package? What is the next step in your training? Thanks Dale

LIS WIEHL: You can't not hire Lenny.
O'REILLY: Yes, but ... Don't you see my business point here? ... the state of Calif .. is forcing me to hire people that may be detrimental to my business.
LIS WIEHL: appearance shouldn't matter. When you're selling bibles.
O'REILLY: Ms. Rivers, you understand ... better than Lis because she went to Harvard Law School, and that disqualifies her from common sense.
