Hi Casey,
If you want to sell DVD movies, the trick is the supplier.
For, the advertising is pretty simple and basic. You just make a template that covers the simple marketing bases for all the dvds in general, where you would only change the title, graphic, etc for each dvd and the rest of the ad stays the same.
So, everything is pretty easy for getting DVD movie sales going EXCEPT getting the best supplier.
The most important factor will be your supplier.
I can help you find a good supplier, but I am guessing some of it would be trial and error.
So, FIRST, we need to find a good supplier. After you have this, I can help you with the rest.
I want to make it clear, it is easy to find DVD suppliers, as they are a dime a dozen.
You can even get really rediculously low prices for all the DVDs. So, you might be wondering, "Why is it hard to find a good one then?"
Well, the problem is finding a supplier with all the popular titles AND low prices.. That is what you want.
GOOD SUPPLIER ATTRIBUTES:
1. Has a wide variety of popular titles. How do you know which titles are popular? Well, just goto blockbuster.com and you will see all of them. Or walk into Blockbuster. Those are all the popular titles. They HAVE to have all the popular titles, as they have to maximize their store space and promote their brand's success.
2. Has low prices. Not bottom of the barrel prices, but prices low enough for you to make a few bucks on each sale. I would set my eyes on $5 bucks per DVD atleast.. A lot of this can be put into
the shipping costs, a little secret all the top sellers use.
3. Has a great deal in stock and does not run out. Also, is trustworthy and ships to you quickly and correctly.
HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT LOOKING FOR SUCH A SUPPLIER?
Suppliers that fit what I am talking about, per their claims:
