Hi Ashley,
There are a couple ways you can start out.
If you don't have capital, likely you do have some credit.
Plan A requires no money up front.
Plan B requires some money up front..
Plan A is to sell digital items. Digital items are eBooks, services, domain names, etc.
Services could be I will work on a website for someone, I will advertise your business on my
forehead, I will do this or that hobby you are good at. If you have something you are good at and people want it, you can sell that service on eBay.
eBooks, of course are just electronic books and you can sell those withoout any capital also.
domain names can be bought for about $8 bucks from
www.godaddy.com. If you are good at picking the right ones, you can turn around and sometimes selling them for $40 to $200 dollars. I have sold a few on ebay.. The idea is to pick something business orientied.. Maybe a real estate domain name, electronics domain name, maybe a computer domain name..
The trick is to think about who would buy it.. don't just buy one because it sounds cool. Rather, think of people who have money and what type of domain name they would need for their business and buy one like that
that is catchy, short, easy to remember, etc..
With eBooks, I can truly teach you how to make money selling these. So, if you are interested in eBooks, just tell me and I will give you a crash course on it..
PLAN B:
One of the easiest ways I have found to buy items cheap and resell them, believe it or not, is to buy them on eBay and sell them on eBay.
Sounds like it would not work, but I can tell you for a fact, it works really really well, if you do it right.
HALF of what I buy, I buy on ebay and sell on eBay..
The TRICK is to buy in "lots". You buy say 5, 10, 20 of some item and turn around and sell it for double, triple, quadruple what you paid.
If you are interested in doing this, I can teach you. You can start
for as little as $30 to $140 on the low end and turn around and sell the "lot" of items individually for 3, 4, even 10 times what you paid..
I do it all the time, so it does work..
Sincerely
Tony

O'REILLY: All right, Lis
... I sell bibles in Tarzana, CA. Lenny comes in, & he's got a ... beard. He's wearing a dress ... I have to hire him?
LIS WIEHL: You can't not hire Lenny.
O'REILLY: Yes, but ... Don't you see my business point here? ... the state of Calif .. is forcing me to hire people that may be detrimental to my business.
LIS WIEHL: appearance shouldn't matter. When you're selling bibles.
O'REILLY: Ms. Rivers, you understand ... better than Lis because she went to Harvard Law School, and that disqualifies her from common sense.
