Pearl 4: Separating Fact from Fiction
- Consider those you see late at night, on those infomercials. You call in, you buy their "package" and you get it home to find out it does not work. What went wrong?
- Well, the first problem was you believed them, dummy. You need to understand, half of what they are saying is BULLCRAP. The other half is truth.
- Generally, the really good sounding parts are the bullcrap. For instance, when they tell you you will only need to work 15 hours a week to make $100,000 a year.. If that was true, why would they be telling you for $50 bucks?
- Rather, their techniques, might work, in a more complex manner and it would require 50 hours a week and you will only make $40,000. But, it takes about 5 times as much work as they told you. Then, you have the factor of laziness that most Americans have that will keep you from even doing it. But who is to blame for our laziness? It is us.
- The problem is us. We need to quit trying to find the easiest, fastest way to get rich.. The fact of the matter is EVEN IF there was a get rich quick scheme that DID WORK, do you know what would happen? It would instantly saturate with people doing it and would then soon become unprofitable.
- THEREFORE, would it not make logical sense to assume that the big money is where no one likes to go? Is it possible, one of those programs you heard of somewhere that simply sounded like way too much work, could actually be the best way to make money? Or, could it be, to look in a place where most do not look could get you that edge to put you ahead? I am just trying to get you thinking here. I have found this to be the case, though. Generally, where everyone else is not, you will find the real deals!
