Portable Propane Torch - Great Weed Killer!. We found so many useful projects to do with our test torch that we'll be keeping a supply of propane bottles readily available. We also had an unsightly patch of year's-old duct tape someone had stuck to a concrete floor. The torch was always easy and reliable to light; open the valve about half-way, light a barbecue lighter and pass the flame in front of the nozzle (trying to ignite the lighter when it's directly in the path of the gas is much trickier). Scraping the tape off was an arduous task until we remembered the torch - one pass and the ancient glue quickly gave up it's stubborn hold.
