He helped establish the Virginia Business Opportunity Fair, is a past member of the National Contracts Management Association, and served on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Senate Productivity and Quality Award for Virginia. Currently he volunteers his time to the Department of Fashion Design and Merchandising at Virginia Commonwealth University. Rosalie Jackson Regni, ITAA, is an Associate Professor of Fashion Merchandising at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to that, she spent over 30 years in the New York fashion industry with positions in both retail and wholesale in the areas of management, product development, marketing, merchandising, and sales for several companies, including J.C. Penney, Montgomery Ward, Character, Inc., Body Drama, and Movie Star, Inc. (where she served as President of the largest division). Regni has delivered several papers, including at international conferences in Australia, London, Barcelona, and Hawaii. She is a member of the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA).
