The approach taken by the author is very refreshing, and I agree that his approach is more consistent with my common econometric practice.This book helps minimize my effort in motivation and applications. I love the data availability and connectivity it provides. I am also less reluctant to teach undergraduate and early masters level courses given that this text can do a great deal of handholding of students on my behalf.
