The 21776 mounting tool allows you to more easily and securely install your Axis 231D or 232D camera inside its 23xD outdoor housing and onto the Axis mounting pole you have chosen. If you are going to use Axis' 23xD outdoor housing with your compatible dome camera, then you will quite likely require one of Axis' ceiling mount tubes or gooseneck wall mount tubes in order to achieve an optimal positioning for your camera.
