Bushnell has engineered the Digital Stealthview 5x42 with a Supercharged Infrared Monocular to produce images with resolution that rivals costly Generation 2 optics. This infrared technology works by providing a light source for the Stealthview system to amplify and collect through an objective lens. The resulting digital image can then be transmitted to video camcorders, laptops, and television screens via a video output port. The light is then processed through an image sensor and transferred to an in-view black-and-white micro-display, which features CMOS technology for superior LCD resolution.
