Installation was easy--we simply connected the WingMan Gamepad to the game port on our sound card, loaded the software, and the step-by-step installation took care of the rest. You inevitably have to take your finger off the thrust in order to perform other functions. The button layout is fairly intuitive, but when you're in the midst of a hard-core race, some of the buttons are a little difficult to reach.
