12cm Micover Puffin Wind Diffusion Windscreen for Shotgun Microphones. The Micover Puffins are made of open-cell foam fitted with a permanent high-quality synthetic fur cover. Micover created the original beveled hole to accommodate microphones with 19mm - 26mm diameters. Your microphone, with its original black foam cover, provides between 5dB and 10dB of noise reduction. This technology was quickly integrated in The Micover Puffin Series and has been replicated in competitors' designs.
