The Maxxum 8000i is a great camera and even better value compared to current expensive models, not to mention the super line of Maxxum lenses and flash units that make for a very capable system, almost everything an advanced photo bug could want. This camera features AUTO EVERYTHING, including 3 FRAMES PER SECOND SHOOTING, 1/8000th of a second shutter speed (the 7000i can only claim 1/4000th second), a front mounted flash sync, MULTIPLE-EXPOSURE CAPABILITY (something wished for but never obtained by 7000i owners), with one of the softest, most capable shutters ever put on a camera. It's LCD panel is illuminated in low light and this lighting shuts off when the exterior light is sufficient. It also features several exposure modes and the ABILITY TO ACCEPT A LONG LIST OF MINOLTA CREATIVE EXPANSION CARDS.
