It is most commonly used for in-vehicle repeater kits and the connectors are designed so that the cable can go between mobile amplifier and mobile antenna. For cable lengths longer than 20 feet you will need LMR-400 coaxial cable. Although this antenna is slightly higher the difference over 20 feet lengths is very small.
