Hi Andreas,
Exactly, you are getting the idea.. Where ever the other people are not, you can sell..
Its kind of like this.. Say there are 8 buildings.. One is really big, some of the others are like 1/2 as big and many are 1/8 as big..
Many people are congregating in the one really big building and forgetting all the rest..
So, you have a couple at the 1/2 level, some at the 1/8th level, etc..
Meaning, there are several slots to sell in and everyone goes for the popular ones or "obvious" ones..
Ebay Australia ironically sometimes gave me more sales than Ebay USA.. So, actually, that is probably close to as big as where everyone else is going..
And, if you are the only seller there, obviously, you are going to have more sales..
It is a little more complex than this.. In that, each day is a day of sales.. The last day of your auction is when 50% of the sales occur.. That is why you can have a different auction up daily for the TV projector kit, even in Australia.. Matter of fact, you can easily do it with the Australia..
With the UK, its not bad.. Meaning, its probably like 1/3 the USA one.. The cool thing is you can usually milk more profits on it, by having a higher price in UK..
When I say this, I am taking into consideration conversion rates.. So after conversion, it is higher price.. Its like 2 USD = 1 GBP.. And it is like 1 USD = 1.3 AUD (Australian dollar)..
Could be different than that a little, but that is close..
PRICE COMPETITION:
The competition's price is irrelevant.. By this, generally speaking, I am right.. From about 7 years experience selling it.. Remember, I sold it 20,000 times..
I had tons of competitors.. Some with insanely low prices.. They are generally speaking, irrelevant and you can ignore them..
You can have a high price like 7.95 GBP + 6.95 GBP Shipping cost.. That is like $30 USD.. I sold it at that price..
Of course, you may get more profits taking the normal price approach, but the above, is basically what I did often..
However, you could price at 4.95 GBP + 4.95 GBP Shipping cost.. That is $20..
On Australian, I would do $9.95 AUD + $13.95 AUD Shipping cost.. Or about $24 AUD or $19 USD..
I would do this:
1 Australian, 1 Canadian a day..
1 UK every 2 or 3 days..

Hi again,
I made some research on my competition in the bigger Ebay regions and
I wasnt able to find a single projection kit in Ebay Austria! So I
guess some selling should be possible over there? Also .UK and .CA
seems like a market. Only a few there.
(I realize there might also be some ads out there with completely
different keywords/titles that didn't match my searching)
But, there is one american guy who sells in the UK for $3.95 plus
$2.65 S&H! Hard to compete with that price.. ("moulton100")
Some others are also selling really cheap there..
Only chance would be to try other categories and titles there to steal
buyers, am I right? Is there some other effective selling strategy to
still compete at a higher price? (I mean $20 is more than twice his
price)
The market seems pretty saturated in the US - but I can imagine its
also easier to get sales there?
So, my conclusion is this: I'll focus on just the tv proj.kit and will
be setting up auctions in AU, UK and CA.
Four auctions per day and site, all in the different categories you
recommend in your tutorial. Thats twelve all in all.
I'll start out with the same hours (local time) at all of them and
take it from there. (You seem to prefer afternoons/early nights?)
The pricing seems to be set a bit different in different auctions and
also the shipping is included in some auctions - but w. a higher
price. I think the recommendations in your tutorials sounds good - to
include the shipping in the price.
Is this a good vareity on the title?
"Home Cinema, Movie & TV Projector LCD Kit, 150 Inch Screen"
"Home Theater & Movie Projector LCD Kit, 150 Inch Screen"
"Big Screen TV & Film Projector LCD Kit, 150 Inch Screen"
Ebay seems to include hits if any of the words are searched for, so I
figured more searchterms is better.
Is there another way of putting in more keywords somehow? (like in the
metatags of a website)
I will look around for different ad pictures as well.
If I get any questions in detail about the product I'm gonna have to
ask you at first. I'm guessing many will ask the same thing.
Is there any of your other dropship products you recommend, that is
easy to sell and without a saturated market?
